Who am I?
I am going to break the mold and write my bio in the first person. That's what I like to do....break the mold, and be unique. I know that is hard to do now, especially on a blog site with less rules. I think what really makes me different is that I don't take my views too seriously (unless i have money involved, haha). I am the most passionate person I know when it comes to my love for sports, but when it comes to my views, I really try and be fair and look at both sides of things. I think that many writers these days have become part of "overreaction nation", and I feel like I read the same column twenty times a day. The worst part is, none of these writers will ever admit that...You know what type I am talking about. The types that bashed Chad Pennington or Eli Manning two years ago, and now are claiming that they always liked them. Don't get me wrong, I will make some outrageous claims from time to time, but I will usually try and evaluate the situation before I do that, and I will admit if I was wrong (on the slight chance that happens). Haha. But really, I just like to have fun with things and hopefully you will have fun reading. Being an athlete myself, I think that I have a great insight to many situations. Although I like to have fun and say crazy things and make goofy lists, I also am a complete stat-geek. I just think overall that my love for sports, knowledge of sports, and desire to have fun with my views and with the online community make my blog great.
Interests
All sports. Mostly Basketball. Watching it, coaching it, playing it, writing about it. I think I slept with a basketball when I was younger. I don't think I have tried eating one yet.

Just when the Knicks season had some hope, Jamal Crawford traded to Warriors for Al Harrington posted on 11/21/2008
Finally.....Finally it was time....As I saw the sports ticker at the bottom of my screen begin with "Knicks agree to trade", I just knew that either the Stephon Marbury or Eddy Curry issue had finally been resolved. The Knicks season had already started out with some excitement, and this was just going to add to it. A genuine feeling of happiness and relief started to generate inside me.....
Tick....Tick.....the ticker kept going...
As each letter was revealed after "Knicks agree to trade", the feeling of happiness became a feeling of worry..... A few seconds later, the ticker had finished, and my jaw and heart were on the floor.
"The Knicks agree to trade Jamal Crawford to the Warriors for Al Harrington.."
...? What?..... What!? ..... WHAT!??
BENCH-mark win for Nuggets over Bucks posted on 11/19/2008
I'm sure that the last person new defensive-minded coach Scott Skiles had his team focus on in practice was Linas Kleiza. It was clear from the get-go that the Bucks were at least trying to come out with a strong defensive presence. Although the Nuggets scored 34 points in the first quarter, they sure didn't get many easy buckets. It seemed like every other posession Carmelo or Dahntay Jones were at the line. Rookie Luc Mbah a Moute had looked pretty impressive so far this season, especially on the defensive end. However in this game, he looked lost and over-agressive. I can't believe he only had 5 fouls, I think he could have had 8. Even Richard Jefferson seemed to be overwhelmed by the ultra-agressive Nuggets attack. It wasn't only Melo and Dahntay Jones causing chaos. Like I said before, it was the "L-train" Linas Kleiza chugging his way through the lane and looking almost unstoppable at times on his way to a Nuggets high 25 points. Although the Nuggets starters were holding their own, the energy of Kleiza and Renaldo Balkman was unbelievable and shocked the Bucks. While Kleiza's damage was done mostly on the offensive end, Balkman dominated on the defensive end with 4 blocks and 2 steals in only 20 minutes of play. It is really great to see such energy off the bench for the Nuggets, especially with "Birdman" Chris Anderson still out. 48 bench points is the most of the season and hopefully a good sign for things to come. I have seen that some fans are worried about the Nuggets starters needing more minutes together and need to find their rhythm, and I have previously agreed with that. But with the Spurs coming up just one night later, I think it was a great move to let the bench players get some time as long as they were playing well.
