After a recent article on the Iowa Energy, Iowa State fans were left wondering if Stevie Johnson had any interest in the NBDL. Luckily, I was able to catch Stevie, and he gave a great interview about life in basketball after college. Johnson was one of the stars on the best team in Iowa State history leading the second seeded Cyclones all the way to the elite eight in the 2000 NCAA Tournament. Below are his current stats with Caja Rioja in Spain.

Apparently the Miami Heat and the Phoenix Suns have agreed on a trade that would send Shaquille O'Neal to Phoenix in exchange for Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks. I believe this is simply a knee-jerk reaction to the Los Angeles Lakers' acquisition of Pau Gasol (a brilliant move by L.A., by the way) and do not see how this trade can make sense from the Suns' vantage point.
