A little history and credentials:

Originally from Florida, I have lived along the entire east coast, from the deep south and all the way back up north to my true roots in Massachusetts. Fortunately for myself, I was born into a long line of New England sports lovin’ fanatics who I am proud to call my family. They taught me the true ‘love of the game‘; whether it was while passing hot dogs behind the Pesky Pole at Fenway or sipping bruschi’s in Foxboro at Gillette Stadium, the same passion was passed along to the newest member of the Portuguese pack - me.

In an attempt to escape the winter weather wearies endured by only the bravest of New Englanders I found myself in Gainesville, Florida, home of the Florida Gators - that’s right, everyone’s favorite rivals. It was here I discovered the college craze that makes the world go round for football fiends and all the mayhem that March Madness brings to town. Watching impressive athletes transform into legends and walking the same orange and blue corridors that so many professional athlete’s now credit as the stepping stones to their career instilled in me a new sense of pride. There’s nothing quite like watching history in the making. It was love at first whistle.
