I love watching baseball. I used to hate it. But I love it. It used to make me feel old. It used to remind me how uch I DON'T get out on the field. And... HOME RUN!!!!!! 1-0 Rockies!!!! Ok Bottom of the inning: Wow. Hope everyones watching. 3-0 Rockies! Homers, Rbi's. Doubles. WOW! I love it when we start out like this. I heard one of the announcers mention that the D-backs are already playing like thy're done. Which, they are, but still. That's why I started watching these rockies. Yes. I admit it. I am sort of a band wagon rockies fan. Let me set it straight. I went to the opening game in rockies history. April 9th. 1993. Mile High Stadium. A place I'd already grown to know and love. Rockies Vs. Expos. If I recall correctly, that game started a bit like this one did. But the last few years, these rockies show a lot of heart. But the D-backs just look deflated. 2 outs. D-backs ground to first. OUT!
Top of the Second.
Barmes is up. I wonder what it feels like to be at bat, top of the second already up by 3. Looks like it feels pretty good being that no one is swinging. 2 down. Struck out both. And there goes the third. Wow. not even enough time to think. Sure is hard to do that with a 3 yr old yelling in your ear. Bottom of the 2nd. Our team is a really well roudned team. Which suprised me how hard this season has ended up being. STRIKE!!! One down. Going back to the team. When I was a fan back in the beggining we had a lot of heavy hitters. But our defense was lacking. With this crew we happened to find defenders that can hit. Our pitchers are fast, strong, and creative. We have a good leader. Oh, there's a walk. Alright one on, one out. The D-backs aren't hitting anything. They're bats are like magnetic repelents right now. Everything they make contact with is flying foul. Montero even streched WAY out there to touch that one. FOUL! DANG and of course. I spoke to soon. Montero hits for a double. Man on 2nd and 3rd. one out. No it's getting serious. I'll post again later in the game.
