The Running Rebels dominated the first half 31-10 shooting over 50% while holding Kent State to 28%. UNLV also hit 5 of 11 from the arc while Kent was an awful 1 of 8.
Kent State played much better in the second half actually outscoring the Rebels but in the end the deficit was too much to overcome.
UNLV's Joe Darger was 7-10 from the field including 4-7 from the three point line. UNLV, as a team was perfect from the free throw line except for Cory Baily being 0-2.
It doesn't get any easier for the Running Rebels; next up is Kansas.
