The Owls lack of depth showed early and the Spartans fresh legs kept the pace all in favor of MSU. The Spartans shot 49% from the field and an impressive 16-18 from the stripe compared to Temple's 37% and 13-19 from the foul line.

The Owls had three players in double figures but an awful day shooting by usually productive Dante Christmas and Sergio Olmos combined for a paltry two for 19 from the field.
