Lindsey Vonn captured skiing's overall World Cup title, after finishing 11th in today's slalom event in Bormio, Italy.
As I noted yesterday, this marks only the second time in history that an American man and woman captured the overall World Cup titles in the same year. Phil Mahre and Tamara McKinney were the last American duo to accomplish the feat in 1983.
